How We Began

Michael and Janet Hartz opened Hartz Honey Hole in 2013. “Our backyard warehouse was overflowing with lots of unique things from our past, so a friend encouraged us to try booth sales at a local Antique Mall- One booth soon grew to two booths, then three, then four! As time grew so did our business… We eventually moved all of our treasures into an old 1940’s “Shotgun House” with Southern Charm in White Hall, AR. With a lot of work, a love for our customers, and a knack for uniqueness, our little business is now located in a 4000 square foot shop walk in Dogwood Village right across the street from our original location."

In April, 2025, Chad and Michele Burchett became the new owners of this wonderful legacy that the Hartz family had built. Chad is a contractor and Michele is a former educator who has made it their mission to continue the uniqueness, charm, and love for customers that the Hartz began. 

Hartz Honey Hole offers unique gift items for kids and adults of all ages!  We sell many Unique items, Gourmet Goodies, Home Decor, Hobo, Tyler, ENewton, Kendra Scott, Brighton, Mud Pie, Nora Fleming, Capri Blue, Swan Creek, Aromatique, and several other one-of-a-kind lines! One of Hartz best kept secrets: our delicious local raw honey! We are so excited to add "The Hobby Hive" to our store: full of needlepoint, cross stitch, diamond art and more!

In Dogwood Village, an Old-Town inspired plaza with weathered wood siding, wood-shingled canopies, extra-large storefront windows, and a classic wood-railed front porch, you'll find the perfect gift for a loved one, a loving staff, and even a little something to treat yourself!
